TIPS
You will not want to flip your SIM tray over when taking it out of the phone slot. When you take out the SIM tray lay it on the table, exactly like you removed it.
Line up the SIM card so the top right has the same angle as the SIM tray. This helps prevents any damage that may occur if not properly placed when inserting the SIM tray and card back into the phone.
If you don’t have a SIM ejection tool that came with your cellphone when originally purchased, you can use a paper clip. You will need to open the paper clip so you can use the tip of one of the sides of the paper clip.
Summary
Many of us have never had to change a SIM card; we usually go into the store and a representative changes it out when we purchase a new phone. But if you are like most consumers you most likely shopped online and had your phone shipped to your house and will now need to transfer your SIM card from your old phone to your new one.
As long as you have a SIM ejection tool or way to remove the SIM tray, you can easily do this at home in less than a minute.
