If you have a Google Pixel 6, a factory reset can be done to wipe all the user data on the phone.
It is quick and easy to do by following the steps below.
What is a Google Pixel 6 Factory Reset?
A factory reset will delete all user data on the Pixel 6.
If you have decided to sell, give away, or trade-in your Google Pixel 6, you will want to wipe all personal data prior to doing so.
You may find your phone is not operating as it did before; it may lag or run and load slow, not charge, become frozen, and stuck on the screen. Whatever the hardware or software issue, a factory reset may be the solution to getting your phone back up and running.
You may also find yourself locked out of your phone and unable to open it back up. The only way you will be able to get back in to use it will be to complete the hard factory reset as shown below.
When you are done completing the factory reset, all personal data will be permanently deleted. This ensures that no one else will be able to access your information.
You complete these methods at your own risk; we are not responsible for any lost data that will occur with the factory reset.
