    First, you can open your watch and complete a soft reset, using the refresh icon on your Samsung Galaxy Fit Band 2.

    Second, you can open your Galaxy Wearable app on your phone, tablet or computer and reset your band by tapping on the band icon. You will want to make sure your watch is charged before starting the restart as it may power off before completing the reset possibly causing a software crash.

    Yes, you can use a Galaxy Fit 2 without having a phone. Instead, you will need a laptop, computer, or tablet to download and install the Galaxy Wearable app. Once you have installed the Galaxy Wearable app on your device, you will want to link your Galaxy Fit 2. This will allow you to review information (HR, steps, activity) from the Galaxy Fit 2 on the Galaxy Wearable app via your computer or tablet.

    Most smartwatches and bands don’t need a smartphone to use the device. Most people have a smartphone so downloading and installing the Galaxy Wearable app on their phone, is more of a convenience, not a necessity.
